The Map is not The Territory

A while ago I had an idea: Round up a whole bunch of tabletop roleplaying authors and designers and have them each create something, all inspired by a single map. Not just dungeon adventures but whatever they feel like. It would be a great way to show off the unbridled creativity of the RPG community.

This is that project.

There are 23 interpretations of the map in this anthology, ranging from unique twists on regular dungeon crawls, to small wargames, to entire self-contained games which cover subjects as diverse as spelunking and monarchy, to things even more inventive.

The whole thing is system-agnostic, which means you'll have to do some work statting up enemies for your favourite system, but it's really the only practical way to do something like this.
