You are an immortal ruler of Faerie. Time and death mean nothing to you, and all that gives you meaning are stories: the joy of the ones you hear, and the social cachet granted by the ones you tell.

Emergent offers a new way of engaging with all those TTRPG modules you love but never have a chance to get to the table. Instead of playing an adventurer or GM, you play an immortal faerie telling the tale of their exploits. You have peerless skill with your weapon of choice, a body not bound by the rules of mortals, powerful magic, and an audience both jaded and easily bored.

The game itself is intended for solo play (although you could adjust it for duet play with a little house ruling) and uses a short, straightforward system to bring out the narrative in whatever module you choose to use it with.
